Fr. Ted Smith, retired pastor of St. Paul's Basilica, died peacefully, on Saturday March 21, 2026, at Presentation Manor, Scarborough, at the age of 78.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Basilica, 83 Power St., Toronto, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
